If you are opposed to a lot of extra lighting, you’ll wanna avoid Baltimore this week. Light City is underway. This is the third year and I still have no idea what it is. I know there are a lot of extra lights that are a part of exhibits such as “On the Wings of Freedom”. From the picture I saw, it looks like a bunch of poles with toilet paper attached to the top. But it’s actually supposed to look like butterflies.
Another work of art was created by someone from Belgium. It appears to be a collage of garbage. But upon closer examination, it’s actually computer mother boards made to look like the pyramid shapes of the Aquarium. I’m thinking about submitting one of my own exhibits next year: orange peels, used paper towels and whatever else I can find in the trash.
